These are the application processing fees required by the Canadian Government’s department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (formerly citizenship and Immigration Canada).
The processing fee is payable to the Government of Canada. This fee has to be fully paid when your application is submitted.
Payments for particular services, such as acquiring permanent resident status (Right of Landing Fee) or Canadian citizenship (Right of Citizenship Fee) are paid at a much later stage when the application has been approved by the Government of Canada and the Permanent Resident (PR)visa is ready to be issued.
The Right of Permanent Resident Fee is paid by all adult PR applicants who are 22 years of age or over.
